Pentagons and Stars - an exercise in paper folding and PostScript programming
Changing lighting of the piece really influences the visual impact of the piece.
Each shape has a template that is printed onto card stock. These are cut out with an X-acto knife and scored with a bone folder.
As the templates are constructed, they are glued into place on the master pattern.
The final step: the entire piece is sprayed with white paint to eliminate the guide lines.
