The idea
The Nature and the Craftsmith met on th Black Glade. Powerfull both of them but stranger to each other still. Will creative act connect them? This is animation inspired by primeval forest in Białowieża about the clash of the nature with the humans craft. This is an epic story about love stronger than fear. Slavic and easteuropean instruments, folk sing and words repeated like mantra together are making original composition reaching with roots to the slavic musical tradition. Six animators working together in one movie project directed by Tomasz Bagiński.
The "Czarna polana" project is one of my favourite projects i was part of. I get there invited by Tomasz Bagiński and in same way it was the beggining of my adventure with Platige Image company. There was 6 animators working together, every one got his own animation part to make.
