Orbit
Orbit is a modular screen system that characterise the abstract characteristics of the designer's horoscope. It is inspired by the horoscope sign Leo's general need to be in the centre of attention juxtaposed with the designer's need to be noticed and alone at the same time. From there, the motif — three circles, representing the horoscope sign, the designer's need to be noticed, and the designer's need to be alone at the same time, orbiting around an imaginary axis, representing the designer — was derived.
This modular screen functions as a space divider that is both decorative and interactive. All the units that form the screen are the same, including the paper lattice. They are demountable and replaceable. The screen can grow either horizontally, vertically, or both. When light shines through, the shadow of the pattern will intersect to form new patterns.
