My art piece is inspired by the rigidity of man versus the fluidity  of nature. Observations of the trees in my environment led me to realize that man's creations are interrupting the growth of trees but due to the organic characteristics of nature, I observed that nature tends to work around any disruption in its way and creates space for itself by growing around the disruption in its way. 

I have used pure cotton and jute ropes which represent trees and various metal found objects which represent blockages created by man
