Taipei Backpackers
A few years ago, I had the privilege to take a leisure trip to Taipei, Taiwan, my first and only trip there thus far. It was the first time I was traveling alone. Having to settle most of the logistics myself, I was recommended by a friend to stay at Taipei Backpackers, a lovely hostel near Ximending. This is where I met Tom and two girl-friends traveling together from Malaysia. I never forgot the warmth of Tom's hospitality and helpfulness in the duration of my stay. The hostel was a soothing presence and a peaceful home away from home for me. Although Tom has since moved on to greater things, Taipei Backpackers formed a significant part of my memory in Taipei. Inspired, I decided to complete a project for it.
