S•H•E is an idea that we believe will help inspire young girls that struggle with finding the motivation to participate in physical education while going through a time in their life that brings a lot of changes both physically and mentally.
S•H•E is an acronym that stands for sport, health, and exercise. The three pillars that we built our project on. The idea is to create an app that gives young girls the opportunity to vote what they would like to do for their PE in an effort to promote engagement and participation.
The demographic that we are targeting are girls from the ages 11-16 that find it hard to participate in PE classes. They spend a lot of their time on their phones and are very technologically inclined; They are more receptive to modernized concepts, hence the idea to develop an app.
We plan to promote a more healthy and realistic body image as opposed to the unattainable fake body images that are constantly portrayed on social media.
