Botany Bots bring nature back into the urban environment, giving agency to plants and challenging the idea of a modern forest. The Botany Bots are personified through group behavior, mirroring mother child relationships in nature, gaining empathy from the surrounding people, and inspiring reflection and change.

The Botany Bots were designed using Rhino, they are fabricated out of acrylic and use recycled parts from a Rumba vacuum Robot. They are programmed to find and follow the leader plant and each other, using a camera and QR codes to maintain a pack mentality.
