Another edit that came to me last night as I was falling asleep on a calm and breezy summer night. The foreground is a shot I took at Bow River in Banff, Alberta. Then I added #vangogh ‘s #starrynight painting to the background in Photoshop and enhanced the stars. The motion was done in Plotaverse app.

Ever since I was a little child, I felt like I live in a different reality from others around me. I was fascinated with stories about magic, dreams, and the world beyond our imagination. Recently I have started to use my photos to create multiple composite work involving visual manipulations, and bringing my own reality to life.
If I had a superpower, it would be to travel to a parallel universe and meet another version of myself.

Light Years Away From Home
Few nights ago I was watching the documentary “Bob Lazar” on @netflix, which is about a physicist who claims that he has worked on extraterrestrial machines that have been found on Earth and no one really knows about them. Do you believe what he’s claiming can be true?

Most of the my editing ideas come to me after midnight...I guess that’s what makes them nocturnal. The background image is a drone shot I took of @elllii7 and @shafieeliving in muskoka lakes two summers ago.

I personally enjoy editing and working in @photoshop more than anything in the world! From an early age, it was (and still is) my habit to long for something or somewhere other than my present moment. It feels as if the people or places I see have a curtain on them and I’m trying to find the secret behind that curtain in my mind. This is also why I wanted to learn flying a drone so that I could see a new perspective of the world we live in. These composite works are also another way of opening up our imagination to our surroundings and seeing things in a new way.
