A good demo reel demonstrates the emotional performance the presenter illustrates to their audience. They do this by invoking emotional standpoints. Techniques like syncing the music just right, can tell many emotions, depending on what the presenter wants to give. This power I had used to give my Demo reel a sense of story and depth. Another example would be that of picking the right music. For my emotional performance, I wanted the audience to feel surreal and have a sense of awe at the same time. So I chose a piece that demonstrates both of those emotional values and intertwine them with the musical standpoint that perfectly demonstrates what a good demo reel is. As distinct emotions give a demo; a performance like no other.
