The Art of Saving Paper

Challenge:
In the spirit of going 'green', our client, Ambank seeked to convert its credit card customers over to eStatement;
an email version of the regular mailed credit card statements.
For better reach, we needed 'physical' posters to be displayed at all 189 outlets where AmBank customers make
their credit card payments. So the challenge was how do we execute this task without cutting down more trees?

Solution:
We realised that our client had a stash of used posters lying around. This was an opportunity for us to 'recycle' them
to create our posters.
The scale of making posters for 189 branches is huge, and the agency enlisted to help of a college, PJCAD and its
students to help hand-make the posters.
The students then would create artwork on the unused side of each poster. Stated on the poster is the name of the
student who created the artwork and that each poster was not printed but rather recycled.

Result:
Since the launch, over 1,500 converts switched to eStatement in only the first week of the campaign, surpassing the monthly expectations of our client by double.
