Cisco QLM3 Builder is an easy to use wizard based tool for developing Cisco QLM3 courses for iPad, iPhones and Android (ver 2.2 or above, HVGA & VGA), MAC and Windows PC . This tool was developed for internal content team at Cisco to quickly compile and publish Quick Learning modules . 

 

You can use this tool to convert your course documents and videos into a working QLM3 Course package. It also allows you to log into the Araloc Content Managamenet site inorder to package your QLMs into DRM protected content with ".araloc" extension. To use QLM3 Builder you do not need HTML5, CSS3 or JavaScript frameworks related knowledge which are the part of the generated QLM packages. Also this tool helps you to generate the required thumbnails, and video poster images that are required as the part of the QLMs.

The major technologies I used for this tool are:  

Flash , AS2, XML, HTML5, HTML4, CSS, an .exe wrapper, Java Script. 

 

 

1. Allows content author to create Quick Learning Modules through the Easy to use UI

2. User can add text , hyperlinks to create new pages.

3. Text copied from MS Word can be cleaned to use mobile browser friendly HTML tagged code. 

4. MP4 and M4V videos can be added and their thumbnails can be auto generated. 

5. Wizard based Assessment generator allows to create quiz with multiple choice (single and multiple options), true/false type and simple drag and drop type questions. 

6. Suuport to add external links and references. 

7. At a click of button the tool can compile 5 packages for iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and MacOSX compatible courses
