ChildLine X Disney Online Grooming Prevention Campaign

A Level ChildLinexDisney Ethical Project
The set of posters below are the final outcome for my coursework section from my A Level year based on the ethical issue of online grooming. My concept was to create a series of posters using Disney characters to portray the message that you don't know who you are talking to online. These were aimed at children which is why I chose the iconic imagery that would be familiar to them and then more specifically to young girls. I like the idea of developing this project to create a series of outcomes based on male characters that young boys could relate to. I feel the topic of online grooming should be more regularly communicated with young ones as the threat online is very real. Inspired by Malika Favre, I used Adobe Illustrator to draw the six characters and to illustrate them in positions that portray the weapon of the villain as the same as the device used to go online. This is to communicate the idea that you may believe you are talking to the metaphorical snow white but in reality, they could be the evil witch.

I have also included my artist research page on graphic designer Malika Favre constructed completely of card and my rough ideas for my final concept where I used fine-liners.
