After a difficult day hiking in the Clarée Valley, I hesitate to stay one more night. The desire to see a sunset at the Lautaret pass is stronger and I take the car back home with a stop at this mythical pass.
Too late, the road is long, I'm not there yet and I see the sun gradually go down behind the mountains. Frustrated, I finally arrive at the pass after an hour's drive.
An intense blue light illuminates the mountains. I'm not the only one watching this show and being totally hypnotized. The snow turns the peaks into ice cream. I'm shaking but I do not think it was cold. It was just magic.
