children's rehabilitation center
Children have been receiving treatment for a long time at city hospitals, in a poor environment deprived of nature and clean air. That's why one of the most important and essential conditions was to place a rehabilitation center in a green area, near nature, which would help children recover more intensely and quickly. Dilijan is brilliantly compliant with all the requirements, having a rich nature and good climate conditions for respiratory patients.
The project is located in the north-eastern part of Dilijan, in a relatively flat part of the relief slope. It was planned to build a sanatorium at that location, but the project has not been implemented. the existing Dilijan first street was renovated and new approaches to the construction were created.
As one of the most important treatment methods is hypo-therapy, not far from the construction, a small hippodrome has been designed for children with mobility disorders.
The center has three buildings that are connected to the elongated section. Being in this area and seeing an amazingly beautiful sight, which opens from that position, it was decided to build no construction in that part of the first floor , raise that part to the second floor and provide recreations. With that decision, it was possible to preserve the existing scene.
