Color theory project
Requirement: To create a monochromatic and bi-chromatic color scheme on a template room.
Using the image of the room with basic furniture that was provided by the professor, I applied colors, textures and accessories using Photoshop to create the schemes.
Residential project
Requirement: To design a one bedroom home from 5 inspiration images using AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop.
I selected five inspiration images for each room, which I translated into floor-plans in AutoCAD. I then redesigned each room with it’s individual color schemes and applied materials using Adobe Photoshop to the floor-plan and elevations.
The final part of the project involved merging all the rooms to create a single floor-plan of the entire house in AutoCAD. Materials were applied to the floor-plan and sections on Adobe Photoshop.
Gelateria project
Requirement: To design a Gelateria in an office space in Santa Croce area in Florence using AutoCAD and Sketchup.
The design for the gelateria is a combination of two countries, UAE and Italy. The UAE sand dunes and sun rays inspired the counter and light design. While the materials and textures used were from by Italy.
Keeping in mind that gelaterias in Italy offer gelato and coffee, the design of the space had some constraints of maintaining the exterior windows and doors, circulation and flow within the narrow space and provision for a disabled toilet and storage room.
