1. How did your opinion of your images change after showing them in a public gallery?

My opinion on my pieces never changed. I still appreciated them just as much and the reasons for taking them and presenting them stayed the same.
2. What comments by visitors surprised you?  How did those comments change your opinion about your work?

A comment that surprised me was by a man who said that he didn't really like the framing of the photo or the subject, but he appreciated the light on the islands behind all of that. That comment didn't change my opinion per say, but it made me like my photos more. Just because one person doesn't like it doesn't mean that my views on them should change. I'm proud of my work.
3. Describe your experience of presenting your work to the public.  What did you learn from the experience?

Presenting to the public was interesting to say the least. Many who viewed the pieces thought that they were nice and that they had a good story behind them. They liked that it was a new view of the town that many had never seen. I learned that not everyone will like what you do, yes there will be critics, but I learned that for me it makes me like my work even more.
