A Dragon Rouge Firestarters brief to create a product range for a brand that has a luxury feel but is also eco-friendly.
My research into eco-friendly brands and environmental issues led me to find that most suncreams contain ingredients that cause coral bleaching. Chroma Sun Protection is a suncream brand that doesn’t use any ingredients or processes that harm coral reefs or the environment. The main imagery for the brand is the flowing colours of acrylic paint that represent the waves of the ocean as well as the colour we aim to bring back to the ocean.
The website features a coral reef that slowly changes from grey tones to full colour over 3 minutes. This represents the reversal of coral bleaching that would be aided by customers buying Chroma Sun Protection over other harmful suncreams. Each section of the scrolling home screen features a reason why Chroma is the perfect choice of sun protection for the body and environment.
