Tessellation Expression: File Sao Paulo led show 2018

TESSELLATION EXPRESSION
Tessellation is the art of tiling a surface using geometric shapes. Each shape then continues to create other shapes and they become layered on top of one another, in a way it is sort of like speaking. The shape is a metaphor for the way we speak. Even though it is simple, it may be interpreted in other ways based on its movement like the way we interpret body language. The shapes in this animation are inspired by the Arabic Mashrabiya, which is a projecting window or balcony enclosed with latticework. The Mashrabiya is an element
of tradition Arabic architecture used since the Middle Ages.
This project was exhibited in the File Sao Paulo led show in 2018.
