「歷史即是過往與未來的串聯」
''History is the connection between the past and the future''
坐落於一中街商圈的臺中科大，周邊小吃商家林立，是知名景點，也是中科大學生最貼近的日常。設計概念以竹籤串小吃轉化成數字100，意味將百年時光串聯，回首創校歷程，放眼當下，並邁向更好的榮光。六顆型態不一的幾何也意涵了六大學院，猶如繁星、花朵、煙火般璀璨綻放，永續薪傳，往下一個百年躍進。
National Taichung University of Science and Technology(NTCUST) is located in the Yizhong Shopping District where snacks and delicacies are abundant. It is a well-known scenic spot and the closest daily life to students. The design concept transforms the snack on bamboo sticks into the number 100, which means connecting a hundred years of time, looking back on the history of the school, looking at the present, and moving towards a better glory. The six geometries with different shapes also signify the six colleges, blooming like stars, flowers, and fireworks, and will continue to be handed down to the next hundred years.
