PROJECT OVERVIEW :
During humanitarian interventions, women needs and specifically those related to their menstrual cycle are completely overlooked. This is due to the lack of knowledge among decision makers of the impact it can have on women and their communities. Women find themselve secluded and at risk during their menstrual cycle, affecting their presence and implication with their family and their community. It is time to make menstrual hygiene management one of the prioirities of every humanitarian intervention.
