LMNOP Design commissioned Steven Noble to render a crest illustration for a new wine collection called Maison L’Orée, which means “home at the edge of the forest” which comes from the prestigious burgundy wines located in the Côte d’Or region of France. The crest includes a lion and unicorn with 4 symbols representing the wine production process that includes water, sun, moon, and grapevine along with a scale representing balance. The artwork was created by hand and etched from scratchboard.
