This book is about the wealth and fall of the french monarch. The beginning of the book is glitzy and gold and shows pictures of versailles (Which Louis XIV built to honor himself) and when you get to the biographies of Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI a cut starts to appear in the book and as you go further the cut gets longer until you end up at the end with the revolutionaries taking over.
