Febreze® has been devoted to creating fresh air and scents for many lifestyles since 1998.  With their specially designed formulas, their products are able to eliminate odors and surround people with soothing aromas. Removing bathroom, cooking, smoke, and animal odors; these products are devoted to creating a fresh lifestyle for customers.  The newest product produced by Febreze® is their SPORT Extreme Odor Eliminator.  Specially developed to find and terminate sweat odors on shoes, apparel, and gear, it allows consumers to focus on their game instead of their scent.  There haven't been many, if any, advertisements for this ground-breaking product, so my strategy is to show the new, sport emphasis.
 
With a fairly narrow target market of adult females, it would benefit Febreze® to broaden their aim to both genders and a younger age group.  The SPORT Extreme Odor Eliminator could be the key to this new concentration. It has the ability to extinguish the odors of un-washable equipment, such as shoes, apparel, and gear, and its scientific X-Sweat design pinpoints the source of smell.
 
By taking the focus off of the household image and onto the sports emphasis, the advertisements would be getting the attention of a wider demographic.  Because sports and competition are common interests in our society, the SPORT Extreme Odor Eliminator is a product worthy of all consumers.  The promotions would put a stress on the importance of having clean, good smelling equipment to keep players attention on conquering the opponent rather than the distracting, sweaty scent.  The advertisements would also show the strength of the odor blocker against the toughest challengers.
