Description:
The Oakland Athletics are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to create and implement effective visuals for our print and digital marketing materials. The candidate will work closely with our marketing teams to produce a wide range of design materials such as digital marketing graphics, web content, advertising, social media graphics, event and promotional materials. The candidate must have a good graphic sense and demonstrate a strong knowledge of best practices and industry-standard software. The intern will service all departments with any creative or design needs, from initial concept to final execution. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to supply creative solutions on a regular basis to a variety of requested projects while remaining organized and on task. Responsibilities:
+ Formulate design concepts and other collateral from initial idea to final execution
+ Working closely with the team to create advertising campaigns that are followed across a variety of collateral
+ Assist with various graphic design projects as needed
+ Contribute to the creation and implementation of marketing/communications initiatives
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field; or equivalent experience in a related field.
+ Proficiency working in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
+ Must be a creative thinker and do well in a fast-paced environment
+ Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
