Greek gods provide a rich history and source for inspiration on all levels of life. Inspired by the Greek Goddess Aphrodite, I created a business and symbol mark. The business, Aphrodite Spa, is a reference to the story of her origin, the seas. The symbol’s form reflects her narrative and image; the flower reflects her delicate and feminine side, and the water drop references the sea.
Through the research of Aphrodite, analyze the results and create an illustrative symbol mark. Research and document top business associations with the god/goddess, then assign a business of your choice to god/goddess. The chosen business is "Aphrodite Spa"

Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, fertility and sex. She was previously a fertility goddess in pre-Hellenistic Greek, before being assimilated into Greek mythology as one of the twelve Olympians. Aphrodite was married to Hephaestus, the God of metalwork and masonry, and also the least attractive of the Olympians. Although Aphrodite was married, she also had many lovers, including but not limited to Adonis, Anchises, Ares, Butes, and Hermes. This led to her numerous children, Aeneas, Eryx, Harmonia, Hermaphroditus, Priapus, and most famously Eros. Aphrodite owns a magic girdle that makes her irresistible to men.

When Kronos overthrew the primal god Uranus, he castrated Uranus’s genitals and threw it into the sea. Sea foam gathered at where the genitals fell, and from the foam Aphrodite was born. She then floated ashore on a seashell to Cyprus (or Cythera).

Aphrodite is commonly associated with the dove, swan, sparrow, dolphin, rose and scallop shell.
