Mike Amerson
Senior Video game artist
Im an artist and a gamer.

Impassionate about games and art.  I grewup with the Atari 2600 and have been playing games or drawing throughout mylife.  I stay current with all the newgames, dissecting them for art and from a business perspective as well.  Many artists use game development as astepping stone to get work in the film industry but thats not the case withme.   My interest lies purely in game development. Iam exactly where I want to be.

My work ethic is strong.  I will go theextra mile and can always be counted on to produce quality work in a timelymanner.  I'm versatile, capable of handlingany art related tasks:  Concept, 3d modeling,UVing, texturing, Rigging, Skinning, Animating, and more.  I am an experienced video game artist withthe technical know and organizational skills to match.

Im acommunicator.  My belief is that communicationis vital to staying at the highest level of efficiency during production.  It raises awareness and lowers frustration.   It keeps everyone on track and helps tominimize the amount of redo work that occurs from miscommunication.

Imfriendly and have a positive attitude.  Iwork well with others and know the importance of synergy in a workplace.  I like to set a good example as it tends torub off on others around me.  I have noego or temper- I remain calm under pressure as I like to focus on the task athand.
