Hope Family Fellowship: Logo & Postcard
Hope Family Fellowship Logo & Postcard Project
A religious client asked me for help on a logo she tried to do herself but felt it didn't seem to achieve what she needed on a professional level. She turned to me for help on logo design in which I've refined in Adobe Illustrator. Once the logo was approved, she requested for a postcard to welcome new families arriving at the church.

Originally, the client wanted a Welcome Connections postcard that has a chalkboard background with information on it. She sent me examples but was open to other ideas for a homey feel. I suggested a bright or dark wooden background with cursive typography. She agreed asking it be a distressed creamy background as it's actually an architectural material used at her church and that the text be black.

I designed the postcard from scratch, revising the 'Welcome' font to a customized look with the sides continuing to the sides. Realizing the black text was too strong against the creamy wood background, I decided it should look softer. I took the blue colors from the logo to achieve that look. I sent for approval and the client was so happy and surprised how well the blue text turned out beautifully on the design. That made me happy to see a client satisfied with the design.
