Viral Campaign: Book launch of Oksa Pollock
This was one of the most successful children books in France, called to take over Harry Potter. Planeta Publishing was determined to make a success of this new character also in the Spanish market.
The mission: We knew who clearly was the ideal target but, introducing Oksa as "the new Harry Potter" could be self-defeating. Child audience is never easy. ;-)
The solution: Based on the original storytelling I wrote, I proposed a complete campaign with an initial teaser and a compelling social media contest that became viral. We reached thousands of young girls who wanted to be magicians like Oksa and who became excellent opinion leaders.
