I had the immense please of working under Arthur Jones of Future Smells to create assets and animated segments for the Netflix original documentary: The Toys That Made us. Starting from gathering images of retro TVs, Rifles, action figures, etc, I composed many of the animated segments from the show using photoshop and animated everything using Aftereffects- it truly was a multi step project with a lot of work upfront before event getting to the animation.

I created these title cards inspired by retro home entertainment sets to be used throughout the episodes
I animated the opening logo sequence of the show using After Effects and a combination of video effects along with 2D animation.
The process was long. I planned out the scene; compiled the assets I needed; rendered a new background; and created the character puppets all before moving to compositing/animation/and lighting in After Effects.
