Branding and corporate identity for fast-food cafe
Cafe specializes in cooking shawarma. If the visitor is in a hurry, the order may be packaged to "take-away", and for those who are not in a hurry, there is a spacious hall where you can sit alone or with a company.
The basis of the sign is the image of rotation. The twisted helix refers to the process of cooking shawarma: during frying, the kebab is constantly turned, and after the meat and other ingredients are wrapped in pita bread. Due to its shape, the logo creates associations with the main dish of the cafe, its simple form will be easy to remember and reproduce from memory.
We analyzed the design of competitors and noticed that most companies are trying to lure customers with colorful inscriptions and bright colors. To make the project stand out against the background of others, the corporate identity was made in a black and white color scheme.
Such a solution visually creates an image of a prestigious establishment, which affects the expectations of the product: in a stylish cafe, the visitor expects high quality food, which they are ready to provide here.
Posters and product packaging also have a “spiral” design that unites all elements of identity. We abandoned the traditional posters with photos of food, replacing them with brand symbols: tables, bottles, music records, cars and menus decorated with a circular Shawarma Factory inscription.
