The Fund for the Prevention and Treatment of Addiction and Abuse was established in 1991 in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 46 of 1991 in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 122 of 1989. The Fund's mission is based on the official plan of the State to eliminate the problem of drug abuse and addiction in Egypt. The phenomenon through programs and mechanisms seeking to block all manifestations and to follow up all the developments in the context to protect the youth of Egypt from falling into the clutches of drugs and protect them from slipping in and to help those who fall in addiction to return to be healthy and a participant in the development of society
