This is a project I have worked with Fairy Talk agian, for their Children's play "the Crane and the Turtle". 

The director of the show wanted it look more hand-draw type, with elements of the show. Like characters from "Go to the West" and the old lady from the show.

I found that there are too many styles of the "Go To The West" characters, with different vibe.

To choose the hand-drawing style, after few try-out, this cartoon-ish cute little simple character style makes the director very pleased.

I used Procreate to start with each of the characters, and to put them together in Photoshop.
