Each image in this collection was chosen from a set of more than 1000. A different aspect of Berlin is portrayed in each photograph, but all of them are in black and white to unify the set and focus the viewer’s attention on the rich complexity of textures to be found in the city. The aim was to convey an authentic sense of the emotions of what is usually considered to be a mechanistic place.
