A Second Paradise is a comic book adaptation of Efren Abueg's Sa Bagong Paraiso, a Filipino short story. It is a coming-of-age tale revolving around two childhood friends who face the hardships of growing up.

This was a solo project for my finals in Sequential Art. The objective of this project was to create a modern rendition of an existing Filipino literary piece.

Conceptualizing, writing, storyboarding, inking, coloring, and layouting the comic book all by myself was one of the hardest challenges of my life but I believe that this experience made me grow so much as an artist.
