Soft Pipe chaise longue is one of the most iconic design objects of Sand & Birch, like other furniture of Sand & Birch, Soft Pipe is not only a piece of furniture but also a sensual sculpture.

“it is a naked woman dressed in gloves and boots…”, this is the description of Soft Pipe. While having a rather abstract form, the structure of Soft Pipe is stable and comfy as a chaise longue, it is as soft as how it is called.It’s been conceived not as a usual seat but as a true jewel to adornate an important house. Designers’ wish was to create an object able to inspire pure luxury. Diamond Sofa is the highest expression of a project Sand & Birch is pursuing, in which objects lose their proper primitive functions to acquire other meanings. In this way, the Diamond sofa becomes predominantly an expression of aesthetical values.
