NEXO
Nexo is a photography exhibition by Romeo Nicoloso, organized by CentroCentro, which seeks to be the connection between the different faces of Madrid in order to create a united city, proud of its diversity. Nexo wants to show that the beauty and charm of Madrid lie precisely in its heterogeneity. Nexo seeks to create a space in which we can all feel part of this unique city.
For this project we use photography in black and white since through the absence of color we are looking to present the thousand faces of Madrid in a crude way, without filters and colors that distract and prevent us from seeing reality as it is. The typeface used is elegant and classical (Louize), to make the exhibition neutral and accessible to people of all ages, genres and parts of the city. It has a contemporary style because we want to make it clear that we are showing the current reality of Madrid. The colors are neutral to emphasize the photographs, and because Nexo seeks to embrace Madrid’s past, present and future from an optimistic and unifying perspective.
