INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE DEAD
Hand-painted ceramic skull representing "Pasarea Maiastra", a mythological bird from Romanian folklore. This piece was part of an art exhibit on Granville Island in Vancouver that showcased the diverse interpretations of death from artists from different countries, while celebrating the Mexican holiday "Day of the Dead".
