ALBERTA LEGISLATURE UNITED AGAINST BILLS C-48 AND C-69

United Conservative Party and New Democratic Party MLAs voted unanimously Thursday May 23 in the Alberta legislature to demand the Senate turf federal bills that would ban large oil tanker traffic only on the B.C. north coast (C-48) and make approval of large energy and transportation projects effectively impossible (C-69).
This strong, non-partisan, united action is tremendously heartening. I suggest the Senate and the federal government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau listen.
Or the next big headline may very well be: ALBERTA LEGISLATURE VOTES TO HOLD REFERENDUM ON SEPARATION.
