The description of the design project

My design intent of this project is to explore the possibilities of variable fonts in music media by combining variable fonts with music. The final design results is going to be displayed in an animated way. In the animation, when the font shows its variability, it will also be beaten with the rhythm of the music. The flashing action is like the font dancing in the music. Besides, the music I chose is a traditional Japanese-style trap music, I drew some illustrations with iconic symbols of Japanese traditional culture as background to improve the visual impact of the picture. I realized that illustrations are just one aspect of improving performance, not the protagonist of the project, so I try to keep this background simple and did not add extra effects elsewhere in the font. Pathos is a rhetorical devices that I will definitely use. Because music conveys certain feelings, the font also expresses this same feeling as the music I choose which is positive and delighted.
