Howdy - Spirit Airlines Plane Re-design
This is proof no detail is too small. When Spirit Airlines – the most notoriously unfriendly airline in the business – wanted to re-design their airplane, I somehow convinced them to apply my signature midwestern greeting ("howdy") to the wing of every aircraft. The goal was to add something small, friendly and fun that would add a little bit of shareable joy to flying an airline many consider to be a prison in the sky. It may not of won some Cannes Lion, but years later at least one person posts a picture of it on Instagram every single day. It has inarguably touched more people than anything else I've done, or possibly will ever do.
