“One Day”
is a collection of seemingly, disjointed and unrelated mundane imageries taken from scattered experiences over a period of time to form a single day. Shown from the viewpoint of a single individual.
They have a certain air of melancholia about them, things happening in the periphery that the mind only notices in the phases of forlornness and seclusion.
Simultaneously the film depicts the relentless march of time as events unfold at its own pace irrespective of the observer’s state of mind and regardless of our presence.
