This project was done in the style of Vivian Maier's self-portraits in black and white. I tried to play with methods and themes characteristic of Maier's work - portraying the self as candid and de-glamorized while paying particularly close attention to the use of mirrors, shadows, and framing with regards to the way they affect detail, curvature, and perspective.
