Nike Brasil - Retail Experience & Launch Event

NIKE FUTEBOL ARTE
Creative Direction and experiential retail design.

To celebrate the launch of the Brazil national teams football kit and Total 90 range by Nike, we worked closely with the Nike UK team to research, develop, art direct and design two projects in parallel. The first being an emmersive retail experience in Selfridges London and the other a launch event in East Londons Truman Brewery.

Futebol Arte, The Art of Football, retold stories of old and not so old, that have been woven into the rich history of the Brasilian national team folk law.

The Orange, an ode to Pele – It's said a famous Brasilian coach on the hunt for new talent, would throw oranges towards the kids as they walked by his club house. If the boy controlled the orange with his feet, he could then begin his training to follow in the footsteps of his Brasilian heroes.
Winning in white – Brasil v Exeter City 21st July 1914. This historic match is considered as the debut of the Brasilian national team. Brasil originally played and won in white for the first 36 years of international football.
