The Living Forest

The Living Forest
University Project

The brief was to create the branding/merchandise/signage etc., for a 'museum of trees'. I decided to create the fictitious live-in arboretum called 'The Living Forest'. The idea is that the Forest has numerous 'pods' for families/couples/travellers to stay in, creating a truly interactive museum. The Forest is divided into 6 areas, each one populated by a different, unusual tree (hence the logo, which represents the areas and a colour relating to the species of tree within each). There is a map detailing this further, however, the file is far too large to include in this online project.

The stickers in action!
The 'pods', featuring information pertaining to the type of tree in that particular area of the Forest. (The photos of the pod are not mine and I do not claim ownership of the photographs. They were taken from www.cocoontree.com and www.thecoolist.com)
Visitor's Book made from natural, handmade paper. Signed with charcoal.
Badges to be given to visitors. Another form of guerilla advertising, as well as merchandise. The range of colours and styles makes them collectable, which would appeal to children.
