The purpose of this project was to make a visually appealing infographic to tell information about a book. The book I chose for this infographic was Animal Farm by respected author George Orwell. I used Adobe Illustrator to make this project. I planned out my sections of information. I made sections covering themes, characters, statistics, symbolism, the author, and a quote. At the beginning I give a quick intro paragraph. To make the background I drew hills, plains, clouds, fences, and the sky with the pen and shape tools. I decided where I wanted every section to be and started to put in the information and add graphics. I created most of the graphics using the pen tool. I made character tree for my characters section and drew all of the characters, and showed there relations to each other. I did a simple drawing of George Orwell with his lip stache' for the author section. I also drew the symbols talked about in the symbolism section. All this drawing resulted in a infographic full of life, color, and communism.
