FACES OF THE BEST 

"Faces of the Best "  is a participatory project I started at the beginning of the peaceful

demonstrations that began in Algeria on February 22, 2019. I wanted to contribute in my

own way to the construction of this new Algeria which everyone is calling for.

I had the idea of setting up a studio right on the street, during a "Revolt Arts" which was a

weekly cultural event organized by young artists in Tizi-Ouzou.

I then had the idea to ask the volunteers who were being photographed in the studio to

write a personal sentence that I associated with their portraits, and then to share both the

portraits and the sentences in their social networks, hoping that new projects would emerge from these interactions.

LES VISAGES DU MIEUX

“Les visages du mieux”, est un projet participatif que j’ai commencé au début des

manifestations pacifiques qui ont débutées en Algérie le 22 Février 2019. Je voulais

contribuer à ma manière à la construction de cette nouvelle Algérie que tout le monde

appelle de ses voeux.

C’est ainsi que j’ai eu l’idée d'installer un studio à même la rue, lors de la tenue d’un

“Révolte Arts” qui était une manifestation culturelle hebdomadaire, organisée par de jeunes amateurs d'art à Tizi-Ouzou.

J’ai ensuite eu l’idée de demander aux volontaires qui se faisaient photographier dans le

studio, d'écrire une phrase personnelle que j'associais à leurs portraits, puis que je  partageais sur les réseaux sociaux, tout en espérant que des projets inédits naîtront d'interactions suite à mon initiative.
