Lost Records
In July 2007 an independent team of researchers discovered a half decayed military complex in the Yamantau area. The vast facilities hidden underground were stuffed with laboratories, many of them featuring huge amounts of terrariums. Nothing alive could be found, however the team managed to get access to monitoring cameras archive. After a rushed departure due to increasing health issues the conclusion was the facility most likely was used for research in the fields of genetical manipulation and biological warfare. Unfortunately the russian government did not help clarifying the case but instead denies the existence of the whole complex which is now a no-go area. The research team has been missing ever since.
