ATLAS OF NEOLOGISM

Diploma work at the EAA, La Chaux-de-Fonds. This Atlas explores the last 60 years of newly coined words being added to the english language. From the word Junk Food (1960) to the word Tender-Age Shelter (2018), we see how the world has evolved technologically and culturally through the years. In the first chapter, it goes into depth regarding each word, specifically their definition, their origin, etc. In the second chapter, it makes a modern comparison of these words by using digital platforms, like Google and Instagram.
