“Explore the materiality of the human body through extensive experimentation with materials, processes and techniques to create images.
You are asked to be inventive, take risks in your choice of materials and media. Explore and reinvent processes and techniques to create visceral images capable of provoking a reaction, an emotion or a thought. Explore, combine and get inspiration from historical references. THINK BEFORE YOU PRINT!
You can explore any material or media. Formats to explore: A4 and/or A3. Produce 10 images/prints (final outcomes).”
I’ve approached the human body following 2 routes:
- organs and will be replaced by objects which presents the same function or structure within a completely different context.
- Fashion approach: macro body details, innards, organs as garments.
