I was commissioned by Educause Review to illustrate three stories in their March/April issue. The first was a story on accreditation. The story highlighted the way that educational institutions are becoming more fragmented or 'disaggregated'. There is increasing pressure on accreditors to move away from looking at an institution as a whole and instead to look at smaller parts of the whole, which is the concept represented in this illustration.
The second story was simply titled 'We Love E-Books!' and focussed on the need to increase the availability of e-books at libraries.
The third story was about the disruptiveness of technology within higher education which, if embraced, can expand the classroom beyond the limits of four walls to encompass the whole known universe.
